Dr. Maya Giannetti is originally from Davis, CA. She received her B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder, followed by her DDS from UCLA. She went on to complete her orthodontic residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she earned both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. During her final year, she had the honor to serve as Chief Resident.
Dr. Giannetti developed a passion for orthodontics early in her dental education, drawn to its fast-paced, interactive nature and the problem-solving involved in treatment planning. Throughout residency, she found deep fulfillment in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She has also been actively involved in organized dentistry at the local, state, and national levels through the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). Most recently, she served as California Resident Captain for the National Advocacy Network of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Dr. Giannetti is a proud member of the Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS), the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Giannetti loves spending time with her fiancé and their Maltipoo, Pluto. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants, attending live music events, and playing competitive pool. She has competed in both the APA and BCA World Pool Championships.
Dr. Tim Herman graduated from the UCSF School of Dentistry in 1988. He has been practicing dentistry at A+ Dental Care in Roseville and Lincoln since January of 1989 and became one of the owners of the practice in January 1993. Dr. Herman enjoys practicing dentistry with the great group of doctors at A+ Dental Care and looks forward to the future of dentistry and continuing to provide quality dental care to patients.
Dr. Tania Nelson-Chrystal graduated with honors from UCLA’s Dental school. Dr. Nelson-Chrystal accepted a position in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of Maryland at Baltimore and the R. Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center. This prestigious program is world-renowned in trauma surgery, head and neck reconstruction, and microvascular surgery. During her six-year residency, Dr. Nelson-Chrystal also obtained her Medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Ashley Lau grew up in the East Bay Area but has lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, Seattle, Washington and Chicago, Illinois. She is an avid craft beer and food enthusiast, disc golfer, amateur boxer and certified scuba diver. She appreciates enriching her life with wholesome experiences and learning new hobbies. She loves spending time with family, friends, and especially her cat Moku. She always looks forward to meeting new people and creating new memories together. She will respectably care for you with a gentle and thorough exam and perform high-quality treatment. Expect to be fully informed about every detail of your oral health so that you can make the best decisions that are long lasting for you.
Dr. Andy Lee obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and graduated as valedictorian from Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry (Temple University) in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Lee completed his three-year specialty training in periodontology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. At Harvard, he further completed research in oral biology and received his Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc). Dr. Lee is a full-time clinician who is Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant surgery.
Dr. Lee loves to travel and serve in dental mission trips to various countries, and enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He speaks fluent Korean, and is in the process of learning Spanish with the help of his wife, Joohee, who grew up in Mexico.
Dr. Kelsey Lomen was born in Los Angeles and is a recent graduate from UCLA’s esteemed School of Dentistry. She has been a noteworthy leader throughout many aspects of her community. After becoming one of the youngest female pilots in the nation at age 17, she began mentoring a local youth group that helps teens learn how to fly and was soon recognized by the Council of the City of Los Angeles in a televised award ceremony for her inspirational dedication to the spirit of aviation at such a young age. Even now, her passion for introducing kids to aviation and inspiring others to reach their highest potential is ever apparent in her daily conversations.
Dr. Lomen continued to show dedication and compassion for her community while in dental school with countless oral health fairs and volunteer clinics throughout the city of Los Angeles. Her constant curiosity and perseverant nature lead her to excel in the craft of dentistry while in school, earning respect and recognition from her peers and faculty alike. In 2020, she was elected Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Student Dental Association, and subsequently went on to serve the National Board of the American Student Dental Association as the editor for the organization’s renowned national publication, Contour Magazine.
After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Lomen moved to Sacramento to practice dentistry. Dr. Lomen believes dentistry is a profession of lifelong learning and holds the utmost value in providing our family of patients with quality, comprehensive care that can truly make a difference. The sky is the limit for what the future holds!

Kelsey is an avid backpacker, solo hiking the 200 mile John Muir Trail in 2018. She has a cat named Frank who loves car rides, water, and the outdoors. Some say he is part dog. Kelsey has been building cars and motorcycles since she was a teenager and now enjoys her custom Suzuki SFV650 motorcycle.

After much reluctantly, the dentist instructed my mother to “take your brat home.” My experiences afterwards were extremely were extremely too. Well into my adulthood, I decided the only time I see a dentist is when there was an issue that needed immediate attention. At 64 years old, I now have periodontal pain. After 7-8 years of not seeing a dentist…it was time. After my examination, I was told to see an oral surgeon. This is where Dr. Tanya Nelson-Chrystal entered my life. She was absolutely brilliant and the best I’ve ever encountered in my entire lifetime. Words cannot express how grateful I was to have her work on my mouth. I had 3 teeth pulled, 2 were molars. One was infected and the other had a deep cavity. Even though I broke down and cried midway, she was as gentle and kind as anyone could be. I am VERY fearful of the dentist, having had a horrible experience as a child. Dr. Lau has been wonderful to work with, taking good care of me and easing some of my fears. I also really like having most everything under one roof. They handle wisdom teeth and braces or aligners there too. It's nice not having to drive all over town to get things done. And, they educated my daughter on how to care for her troubled teeth she inherited. Thank you.

I cannot recommend this dental office highly enough! After years of struggling to find a dentist I trust and feel comfortable with, especially after some unpleasant experiences. I finally found the right place. From the moment I called, I felt welcomed. I had a broken tooth that I’d been dealing with for some time, and they were able to get me in less than two hours later!
Dr. Lomen is incredibly personable, positive, and genuinely invested in making sure you get the right treatment while feeling at ease. I mentioned that I was hoping to have my broken tooth extracted the same day, and she immediately coordinated with the oral surgeon, Dr. Chrystal, who was happy to take care of it.
Dr. Chrystal and her dental assistant (I apologize for forgetting her name!) were so kind, funny, and professional, they made what I expected to be a stressful experience genuinely enjoyable. The extraction itself was quick and completely painless.

As a senior dental patient, I’ve been treated by numerous dentists during my lifetime (plus by my orthodontist for many years when I was a kid) and Dr. Ashley Lau is one of the finest dentists who has ever cared for me. She liked telling me what she was going to do next throughout the procedure as she recently removed and replaced a dental crown for me. She is adept and sure and works quickly and deftly. Her level of training, expertise and judgement was immediately apparent. She was compassionate and attentive to providing comfortable care to her patient – me. She is reassuring and responsive and she inspired my confidence. And best of all, I was very surprised the day of and the day after my procedure that I experienced zero discomfort or residual soreness – amazing. Thank you, Dr. Lau; I’m very pleased to be your patient. And, if she is accepting new patients, in my opinion you can’t go wrong if you request her care.
Dr. Herman is truly the best dentist ever. He has done crowns, root canals, laser treatments, all with accuracy and efficiency. There has been no pain and perfect results. The entire staff is kind and professional. I highly recommend this business!
I have to say Dr. Lao and Dr. Lee did some extensive dental work these last couple of days. I have always had a difficult time with dental work. I would highly recommend them both hands down! Dr. Lao called the following day to see how everything was going.
Both Dr.'s were very sincere and explained everything that they were going to do with each step of the process. All the staff that I came into contact with at both locations were extremely friendly, genuinely cared about me as a person and how I was doing. Amazing dental office! Went in a week ago and was in the care of Dr. Chrystal, having to get minor surgery. It can be terrifying but Dr. Chrystal made the process swift and the recovery was speedy due to the precision work. Also, The passion Dr.Chrystal has for her work and patients is commendable. I previously went to another dental office for the same issue and was told I needed a tooth extracted and it would have been thousands of dollars when that in fact is not what was needed to be performed. The care and thorough work by Dr. Chrystal not only has me feeling better and is taking care of issue that needed to be addressed but it also gives me a sense of relief knowing honest work and opinions are being given that can be trusted.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Dr.Lau today. I went in for two fillings and was a little bit nervous, but she made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in. My Dentist was intelligent, considerate, gentle and efficient. She really knows her stuff. They use state of the art equipment and materials. The staff at the front desk are kind and considerate. I can not say that I "enjoyed" the experience though. It is a dentist office with needles and drills and suction etc. Its not Disneyland or an open bar at a wedding or anything. The injections were easy and pretty painless. I'm glad that I had my work done there and am very satisfied with the level of service and friendliness.
I’ve been to see Dr. Lomen for fillings and several general cleanings. It’s always simple getting in for appointments that work with my schedule and an easy process once in the office. Dr. Lomen communicates her plan of action well and has never rushed through an appointment with me. As far as going to the dentist goes ( which I can’t believe is anyone’s favorite thing), A+ dental and Dr. Lomen make my visits and treatments as pleasant as possible.

I've had to go in twice for wisdom teeth as my lowers were ready and my uppers weren't ready until recently. Each time Dr Crystal has been outstanding, as well as her assistants. They did an amazing job, currently recovering from my second one today. They made it easy and painless, and I was out in 30 minutes. Everyone at the office is extremely kind and easy to deal with. I got an appointment within a week of calling. Highly recommend!
I’m a new patient to the office and was very impressed with my care after my first visit. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. My hygienist was gentle and friendly. Dr. Lau was very thorough and professional. I definitely very comfortable with the care that I received and am happy with my decision when I chose this office.

This review is specifically for Dr. Chrystal and her wonderful RDA Kat. Dr. Chrystal is warm, friendly, and very efficient. Kat could not be more wonderful. She is caring and is excellent at her vocation. The two of them are like a finely tuned instrument at how they do their vocations. While the dentist is not the best place they make the experience a little less stressful.

Firstly, I came in needing tons of work. I was always afraid to see a dentist because of a bad experience I had when I was younger. I stopped going for many years and depression didn’t help with the dental hygiene either. I came here and have been going for a few years now. The first appointment was the hardest and I still get nervous, but the doctors and assistants here are great and knowing I’m in good hands helps a lot. I had to have an extraction with a really bad infected tooth with Dr Crystal. Unfortunately even after antibiotics, I was not able to get fully numb. I proceeded with the removal and she was very quick, calm, and knowledgeable. After this I saw Dr Lau a few times for fillings/extractions etc. She consistently checked in with me during procedures to make sure I was ok. She explained each step so it helped to calm my nerves. She would make sure I was fully numb and comfortable multiple times (I’ve had experiences where dentists were not so careful or gentle). She also checks in with her assistants to make sure they are comfortable as well! She takes great pride in her work, enjoys what she does, and it shows. I see some reviews about bait and switch and price gouging etc and have not experienced this. I’ve been given multiple options for procedures and I let them know what works with my budget and when I can do it. Then we get it done- no guilt trips, no lectures. Sometimes the receptionists get a bit crabby at the end of the day, but there are also some very friendly ones too. And the communication is spot on- I get text reminders and a call the day before which helps me a lot. Very happy with this place. I doubt I’d ever go elsewhere - I just have not had the same level of care anywhere else and it has done so much for my health physically and otherwise.
By far the best experience I’ve had at a dental office to date. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Lou (not sure if it’s the correct spelling) and she truly seemed like she cared about her patients and it was only my first time there. All in all the The professionalism of the staff and experience as a whole was 10/10. 100% recommend to anyone considering a new dentist in the area.

I was referred to this office from my orthodontist, for some work with their on site laser. Fantastic initial visit, and the dentist found that I had had a small cavity. He painlessly fixed the cavity within just a few minutes and I didn’t even have to schedule a visit. I would recommend without any hesitation!

My experience with A Plus Dental started when my daughter had tooth/jaw pain. We went to the Forest Hills location where it was decided she need her 2 remaining wisdom teeth extracted. We scheduled an appointment to do so at the Coloma location the following day. Everyone was very nice at the Forrest Hills location and this continued at the Coloma office. All went fine and my daughter's recovery was as good as could be expected. While in the Coloma office on that Saturday I inquired about the teeth whitening service, the person at the desk took my information and someone called me regarding the teeth whitening and I had it done on Tuesday. Once again everyone was great including Addy who did a great job. She explained the procedure up front, constantly made sure I was not feeling any discomfort and informed my of how to prolong the benefits of the service. Whoever the force is in ensuring that your organization provides service with a smile is doing a great job.
The quickest DDS appointment I've ever had! I'm on a new medication that causes enamel to wear fast. My dentist caught the beginning of a cavity forming on the front of a tooth that wasn't there 6 months ago. My appointment was scheduled for the following week and I was in the dental chair for 13 minutes. No shots, anesthesia or drilling was needed. A laser treatment that only jiggled my head a tiny bit; zero pain and very efficient. Cavity was removed, tooth & gum area were cleaned and patched up in < 15 minutes. Hooray! Dr Phan at the Coloma location is fantastic - Thank you!
Had a major tooth ache. Called at 8:00 am and they got me in at noon. I DON’T like going to the dentist at all. Adriana at the front desk greeted me with a smile and was very nice. Mel took me back for X-rays and took care of me during my stay. Dr Phan was awesome as well explaining everything to me and giving me multiple options for fixing my problem. For anyone who has a fear of going to the dentist, I would completely recommend the very friendly A+ Dental in Roseville.

Everyone was great. I came in for a filling that came out and was seen with very short wait of 10 minutes. Dr explained everything and they even used a cool laser machine to do the filling so I didn’t need meds. It worked great with no pain. Will come again

Wow!!.. I have to say. I've been to about a dozen of dentist office's from when I lived in California then moving to the Seattle area. This Dental office we have discovered from word of mouth and decided to give them a try, when only having little hope after all the previous offices. I feel that most people aren't 100% comfortable admitting that they don't fully trust their Dental offices as to what they are advising... is it that they really want the best for me or simply wanting to rip me off?? as we have heard that's the reputation most Dental offices have. After my first visit, I was blown away with the service. LITERALLY!! I mean everything from; sending me text message reminders and that they're looking forward to my visit, the way you're greeted when first walking in and departing, the expedited service, pain-free when giving the shot to work on fillings (that was incredible) 100% honest recommendation from Dr. Oleg Semeryuk and you can totally see that this man truly cares for your wellbeing! Doesn't push any unnecessary treatments or procedures but builds a plan to the health of you're teeth and a beautiful smile. Dr. Oleg Semeryuk doesn't recommend anything that would jeopordize your trust (meaning he doesn't push anything on you and tells you that we need to take care of it right this minute) or if you not being comfortable with your decision. He would kindly inform you of any work requiring in priority order and you go from there... how awesome is that?! Some of the work that my previous Dr's have said is a must, he says that it's not needed.. or it can wait! Now, we plan a trip or two Roseville, CA each year for our Dental needs for my wife and myself. Once again, I guarantee you will be amazed and never think of going anywhere else, but to Dr. Oleg Semeryuk's Dental office!

Great and friendly office that provides exceptional customer service. Always on time and quality work. My husband and I have been going to see Dr. Semeryuk this past year and are very satisfied with his work overall. I had 2 pain free fillings done. Also, the hygienist did an amazing job with the cleaning. I had absolutely no discomfort. I would highly recommend him for any dental needs!
Excellent and professional environment, not only for myself but for my 4 year old who now loves coming to the dentist . My son got fillings done by Dr. Semeryuk using the laser without any pain or needles. This practice has staff full of great people and Doctors I can trust ! The staff are really friendly in the front office. The dental assistants are friendly and concerned with your comfort and the dentists are extremely knowledgeable in the dental field as well as other areas.
I have been going to Personalized Dental for 14 years. I love that I can schedule a cleaning for 7AM before work. I always have great service and they explain to me what needs to be done and why. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. As long as I can help it, I will never go anywhere else!!
The entire staff are efficient and courteous always to my husband who has dementia and to me. They are very consider of his condition and work with him carefully.
