I love A+ Dental! Their entire staff is lovely, very nice, easy experience from beginning to end. Dr. Loman however, is the best dentist I’ve ever had. She’s very thorough and knowledgeable, but very conservative in care, and didn’t try to give me anything I didn’t need. I look forward to regular cleanings, but I first went in to fix a chipped tooth, and let me tell you - she is an artist. She also is very funny and friendly, which obviously helps a lot at the dentist. I was very comfortable. I have been to a few other dentists in midtown before A+ and didn’t have the greatest experience, so take that for whatever it’s worth. I highly recommend A+. (If you go to their office in midtown, parking is standard street, so arrive a little early for your appointments, and there are only a few spots right in front.)

The dental hygienist and the dentist were very friendly and helpful. They did an excellent job explaining my gum health and necessary teeth treatment. I got the financial plan for my treatment, it was very straight forward.

My recent dentist didn't give me as much hope in saving my teeth, since she had said that my teeth were broken and beyond repair. But after my first visit to this place, I was literally blown away, like wow. The customer service was so perfect,, and the dentist (Henry Dean) He worked on my teeth with such precision and care and literally saved my teeth , he made sure to pay attention to every single problem. I'd have to say this is the best dentist I've been to in a VERY long time. Totally recommend this place

As a head-strong dentist despiser... I take this review very seriously. I've spent years and years having the worst experiences with dental offices and ever since I found A+ Dental off J Street my viewpoint has completely changed. Every single team member is kind, responsive to individual needs, nonjudgmental, and communicative. It truly feels like they are there to help. Naturally, I still hate the dentist, though the A+ dental team has provided me a space where that doesn't have to be denied or hidden. Even better, they've offered lots of strategies to cope with the discomfort. I feel very well taken care of and comfortable expressing concerns, so much so that for the first time in 20+ years I regularly visit the dentist! :o To top it all off, their front desk staff is particularly great at what they do. Not everyone has dollar bills to throw at their pearly whites, nor the capacity to understand insurance complexities. The front desk staff really takes that pressure off and does their very best to support you whatever your situation may be. I literally cannot recommend them enough. The dentist will always suck, but A+ dental gets an A+++++ from me!

I started coming to A Plus Dental Care this year, I had my last visit two days ago and I just want to say thank you!! When I leave the clinic I feel super happy because of the great treatment and care I receive from all of you, and not only that, but I look forward to my next visit. That's how good you guys are, the costumer service from front desk is always great, the care I get from the orthodontist, and other oral health care providers is also amazing, and the main Dentist does an impeccable job, very quick, professional, and he is super nice! My dental insurance changed, and I had to leave this dentist as a result. But the minute I got my insurance upgraded and I was able to, I returned to them immediately. The dentist there is great, but the reason I was so happy to come back was because of the amazing support staff. They're just fantastic. I hadn't been used to this kind of proactive customer support at a dental office. The dentist knows I trust him and that he does a job, but I think he also knows they're why I'm a returning customer.

I haven’t been to the dentist in almost 2 years and was super nervous about my cleaning. My dental hygienist, Mary was awesome. I told her that I’ve been slacking in the flossing department and she did not judge me. The entire process was great. I felt like she spent extra time cleaning my teeth (maybe cuz I needed it lol). I left with my teeth feeling nice and clean . My exam was also very thorough. Dr. Dean answered all my questions and concerns I had. I also inquired about getting Invisalign and they were also able to give me a quote. It’s so convenient to have an office that also does orthodontics! Overall, the entire the staff was super nice. I’m definitely asking for Mary for my next cleaning.

Best cleaning & ck up EVER! I have sensitive teeth, and Mary listened & didn't hit a hot stop. (cleaning for me are a nightmare) Mr Lee was supportive & encouraging, making me feel like I was his only patient. Kimberly, the finance lady was helpful laying out plans to accommodate future work. -And Pearl from the front desk, validated my parking and got me out the door in 1hr & 10 minutes! This was a Happy, relaxing dental visit and I recommend them to everyone! Plus, parking IN the buildings garage, BONUS!! (That's ON J STREET!)

I can’t speak for the A+ Dental Care Group as a whole, but my experience with its J Street location has been extremely good. Considerable time conferring with multiple Midtown dental practices led me to this one. Pearl Abella, its very capable office manager, effectively helped me navigate and coordinate a long anticipated implant procedure. Henry Dean, DDS, is an experienced dentist who is fairly new to Sacramento. I have great respect for a dentist who will honestly assess a situation and thoroughly articulate as it is. My family is grateful for Dr. Dean’s expertise and recent care, and we look forward to working with this team again when dental services are needed.

This is a great Dental office. The people are wonderful. I have been going here for 1+ year and always receive great service and treatment. Pearl is the receptionist/scheduler/billing guru. She is always welcoming and very helpful/informative. Dr. Dean is also very professional does great work. Dental Assistant Sharon is caring and ensures I am comfortable throughout treatment. My Dental care has been wonderful here. I am fortunate to have found this office

Mary is AWESOME! She does such a great job of cleaning my teeth that I actually look forward to my regular check ups. Pearl at the front desk does an excellent job at making sure I know whats going on with my benefits and what treatment I need scheduled. GO schedule an appointment! You will not be disappointed.

This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. They were able to get my daughter in right away when she was in pain, and they resolved it for her immediately. They are really patient with my anxiety issues, everyone there is so nice and accommodating. The hygenists are gentle, the doctor is caring and knowledgeable, and the front desk staff is very friendly. I’ve avoided the dentist for years, and I’ve developed some major issues with my teeth. They never even made me feel bad about that and seem to honestly care about my dental health. Thanks to the team at A+ I am no longer dreading getting the work done.

Dr Murphy and her staff are phenomenal. Their compassion and caring made my seven year olds experience a great visit to the dentist. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. Dr Murphy got him right over to a Oral Facial Myologist to start working on his tongue placement and bite. We could not be more delighted with his outcome.

I called Dr. Murphy's office this morning with an urgent dental concern. They were able to squeeze me in and everyone - from the staff to Dr. Murphy - was warm, friendly, and efficient. I'll add a few more details for those of you who are - like me - not big fans of the dentist and would like to make those visits count. I've had trouble with my gums for a number of years due to grinding my teeth and over brushing. My dentist in Washington tracked the continually worsening situation and fitted me for a mouth guard to help with the grinding. But the mouth guard made me feel like I was choking all night, and so I avoided wearing it. Dr. Murphy's first comments were "I don't know if you've tried a mouth guard, but I wouldn't recommend getting one professionally fitted quite yet. I'd recommend you try an over the counter one to see if it will be useful for you." When I told her I'd tried one, and the problems I'd had, she recommended using a small one only on the lower arch to specifically protect the problem area. She could have made $$$ charging me for fitting a mouth guard, and I appreciated her looking after my best interests instead. Her following recommendations were ones my other dentist never shared with me: reduce the acid in your mouth by rinsing or chewing gum after you eat; drink alkaline water if you need water during the night; and utilize a special toothpaste around the problem areas to further neutralize any acid. These are easy lifestyle changes I'm implementing right away. Finally, I don't much care for the doctor or dentist. Being in a small space with a stranger poking at me is just not my cup of tea. I look for really gentle, warm, caring providers (otherwise I end up avoiding appointments). Dr. Murphy was totally that. Definitely recommend.

Great experience with the entire staff. Very warm and inviting. It had been longer than I’d like to admit since I’ve seen a dentist and Pearl at the front desk was beyond helpful with my insurance and other inquires. When it was time to see Dr. Murphy, she totally put me at ease. She had her work cut out for her with me and she managed to make it all a pleasant experience. Professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend highly enough.
